Refund Policy
Thirty days, no questions asked. If Jarq isn't for you, write to us and we'll give the money back.
The short version. Email support@jarq.app within 30 days of your purchase and say you'd like a refund. You don't have to explain why. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days.
What's covered
The 30-day guarantee applies to your first purchase of any plan — monthly, yearly or Lifetime — counted from the date of the charge.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel at any time before the next charge: from the account page in the app, or through the link in the receipt Paddle emailed you. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for.
If a renewal caught you by surprise — you meant to cancel, you forgot, you hadn't opened the app in months — write to us within 14 days of that charge and we'll refund it. We'd rather return the money than keep a payment you didn't mean to make.
How to ask
Either route works:
- Email support@jarq.app from the address you bought with, or with the order number from your receipt.
- Or go to paddle.net, find your order by email address, and request it there directly.
Who processes it
Payments and refunds are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. The refund goes back through the original payment method — the same card, PayPal account or Apple Pay method you used. Paddle issues it as soon as the request is approved; how fast it appears on your statement depends on your bank, and 5–10 business days is typical.
What happens to your licence
Once a refund is issued, the licence key is revoked and Jarq stops dictating and translating on your Macs. Your dictation history is stored locally on your own machine and is not touched or deleted by a refund.
When we may say no
We'll turn down a request in the rare cases where it's plainly being used as a way around paying:
- Repeated cycles of buying and refunding on the same account or the same payment method.
- Requests connected to licence sharing, resale, or attempts to get around the usage limits.
- Requests made long after the periods above, where nothing in the account suggests a mistake.
Outside of that, we don't argue about refunds.
Your statutory rights
If you're a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Because Jarq is digital content delivered immediately, you're asked at checkout to agree that delivery starts right away, which normally ends that right — our own 30-day guarantee is broader, and it applies regardless. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
