Works in Notion

Translate, dictate and ask —
inside the page you are on.

Every block stays what it is: a translation replaces the words and nothing else. Dictation lands in the block the cursor is in, and Ask answers with real to-dos.

Comes back as it was

Only the words change

Jarq reads the blocks Notion put on the clipboard, sends the words to be translated, and writes the same blocks back.

With Jarq

2steps · 0 switches
1Select the blocks
2Press ⌥T
Every block stays where it was, as what it was
Dictation

Speak a block instead of typing it

Put the cursor where the words belong, hold ⌥Space, say the sentence, let go. It arrives punctuated and capitalised, in the block you were in — a to-do stays a to-do.

✓ Said out loud, typed into the block with its full stop
Ask

Ask for a list, get a list

Write what you want in a block, select it and press Ask. The answer takes its place as real Notion blocks — to-dos you can tick, not a paragraph with dashes in it.

Not only translation

Two more things that work on a page

Fix it without flattening it

Fix, Short, Formal and the buttons you write yourself keep the blocks and the styles the same way a translation does.

Read a page you cannot edit

Shared with you as read-only? Point at the paragraph and press ⌥T: the translation appears beside the pointer and the page is not touched. More on pointing.

Good to know

Before you try it here

Can I select across several blocks?
Yes. Inside one block, across several, or the whole page from its title down, with ⌥T or with the dot that appears beside the selection. Each block comes back as the block it was.
How much can I translate at once?
Up to 6,000 characters in one selection, so a long page goes in a few passes. Select more and ⌥T says so, instead of translating half of it.
Does it need Notion AI, or access to my workspace?
Neither. Jarq never connects to your Notion account. It works on the text you selected, the way you would by hand, and nothing on the page is touched until you press the key.
Where does the text go?
To the translation model and straight back. Nothing is stored and nothing is used for training — the privacy policy says who handles it on the way.
What happens to my clipboard?
Jarq borrows it for a moment and puts back whatever you had copied before.

Try it on your own page

One file, dragged into Applications. It sits in the menu bar and answers a key wherever you are already typing.
